I guess these came with your Royal 500. Such a valuable radio should be identified as yours. I guess people used them although, I have never seen a radio with gold etching on it. Maybe it did not last long. I have seen several where the owners actually scratched their names or SS# into the cabinet or used black marker inside the carrying cases.
