Here is one that I bet you have never seen before. If you have Norm Smith’s Transistor Radios Book 1954 - 1968, you can see his on page 64, but the white Royal 300 is not documented anywhere in Zenith literature. My bet is that only a few got out. This one is in highly collectable condition with all features and details sharp. Unique and near mint.
Collectability: Because of the undocumented color, this is a VERY RARE and highly collectable item.
Chassis / Serial #: 7AT42 / No serial number
Size / Power: 5 ½” H X 3 ¼” W X 1 ¾” D / 4 AA batteries
Cosmetic Condition: This outstanding radio is in near mint condition. It has only the slightest signs of wear on the back to the lettering, but no scratches anywhere on its surface. The fragile metal faceplate is near perfect.
Electronic Condition: The chassis is all original and clean. The battery contacts are as new, with no evidence of use.
Accessories Included: This set comes with a nice leather carrying case and original earphone. The original operating guide is also included.
Summary: The white Royal 300 is not listed in any official Zenith documentation that I have seen. The fact that this is very rare and in outstanding condition makes this a double winner.
Price: $525
