Here is the first American made transistor radio with FM. It was done right and it is named the Trans-Symphony for good reason. A heavy radio that runs on 8 D batteries, the sound that it produces is beyond compare. The radio has been a daily player of mine, but now it is time to share it with someone else. Rest assured, the speaker is not blown and fuzzy sounding. It is not often that a Royal 2000 radio this clean and well cared for comes along. Operates on 8 D batteries (not included).
The radio’s stats are:
Model = R2000, Year = 1959, Original? Yes, Volume = 10/10, Tone = 10/10, Sensitivity = 10/10, Cosmetics Outside = 9/10, Inside = 9/10.
