Nice Zenith Royal 300

In stock

On the heels of the popular Royal 500 “Owl” came this swmartly styled Royal 300 in 1957.  Similar to the Ford Thunderbird of the same year, the 300 has a round “porthole” tuning window.  Otherwise, the 300 has a very similar design to the 500.  These radios measure 3.5″ wide, 6″ tall, and 1.75″ deep.  They were offered in Ebony, Maroon, Sea Green, and a few in White.  They operate on 4 AA batteries.

The radio offered here is in the scarce Sea Green color.  The cabinet is in damage-free condition and shows signs of only light use.  Inside, the chassis has been recapped and is once again in fine working condition.  The silver battery contacts shine brightly, but the label on the battery door shows staining, but not from battery leakage. It sounds good across the AM dial and is very sensitive pulling all my favorite stations.
