Here is a scarce original Zenith Royal 500D leatherette case from 1959. This case marks the start of Zenith going from leather carrying cases to split leather and leatherette cases. This case was introduced with the late version of the 500D (the one with the convex speaker grill and the expanded range speaker). Most of these cases that I have seen are toast because the material just did not hold up well with regular use. This one is in good condition with no missing stitching , stains, or tears. A nice added feature about this case is that it does still have the shoulder strap attached and in tact. Note that there is no earphone pocket on the back on this model. Clean inside.
