Description
Offered here is this early leather portable from Zenith made in 1957, the Royal 700. This is a smaller portable than most of the others made in the 50’s as it measures only 7″ wide. This radio is in nice original condition and plays as it should on a common 9 volt battery. The light brown or tan leather cabinet has held up nice and shows no loss of stitching. The chrome metal grill is bright and clean. The leather carrying handle is strong and without breaks.
Inside, this radio has a new capacitor and is playing strong and clear (you can hear it play below). The tuning operates as it should throughout the scale and this radio will find all your favorite local stations plus many distant ones.
