I have owned this transistor radio for many years and it was performing with excellent receiving, when I walked to work daily I carried it with me.
Recently it has stopped working and I receive only static. I hadn’t used it for a few years so I opened the back and saw the batteries had leaked. I tried to clean the contacts with sandpaper and replaced the AA batteries and I only receive loud static. Can you please recommend where I may have this wonderful radio repaired?

Hi Wade. Sorry about your radio problems. It is common for that to happen, after all it is 60 years old and needs to go to the “doctor” for a checkup. I would be glad to look at it for you and if it is a serious problem, I know someone I can forward it to. Gary
