Gary,
Great looking Zenith Royal 500H. The Maroon color would have been a popular seller for sure. Did you paint or dye this yourself? If you did you did an awesome job. Yes Rich, I did the dye process myself. The benefit of using dye vs. paint is when you dip the radio parts everything gets the exact same exposure to the color so the coverage is very consistant. The most surprising thing that I found after doing this a few times is how nicely the surface buffs out. A light going over with Novus 2 really brings a nice shine to the new colored surface which makes the new color quite compelling. I displayed my first attempt at a radio show in Elgin, IL this summer and I bet over 100 people picked it up and questioned it. It was fun.
