Description
It is truly a rare find when you see a 1960 Zenith Royal 50 shirt pocket radio and its matching speaker box. These speakers were only offered for the 1960 model year, and they did not sell well, making them a rare find today. Add to that the fact that these speaker boxes were very fragile, so finding one in any condition is an experience many collectors never experience.
This offering is for the speaker box set with the radio which plays and sounds excellent both by itself and inside the speaker box. The radio is all original and clean and the speaker box has been protected over the decades in my collection. There is a tight hairline crack (as shown) on one side of the box which does not affect operation, but all else is fine.
